About MaD Youth Radio...

Marazion and District (MaD!) Youth Radio gives local young people a voice, as well as training and experience in making and editing progammes for broadcast on local radio.  It was set up by the Marazion and District Forum with support from the Cornwall Network Fund. It works closely with Penwith Community Radio Group.

MaD Youth Radio is run by local people including youth workers and volunteers. It collaborates with local primary and secondary schools and is based in the Youth Club at St Piran's Hall, Goldsithney.

MaD Youth Radio will be making programmes about local cultural, sporting and community events and reporting on issues of interest to the local community - of all ages.

MaD Youth Radio is committed to young people's involvement in creative and organisational decisions and to helping cross-generational communication.
